The primary objective of the Educational Initiatives (EI) is to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of the Areas of Protection (AoP) nexus, a crucial aspect identified by the project (Food, Energy, Biodiversity, Water, Waste), and the twelve sustainability key competencies of GreenCom.1 The EI implementation for each country partner follows a structured five-step path for each AoP protection area. The EI has a double aim to develop the sustainability competencies of GreenCom and enhance the eight key competencies essential to citizens for personal fulfilment, a healthy and sustainable lifestyle, employability, active citizenship, and social inclusion within the Key Competences for Lifelong Learning.
